How I should use Geschenk?
Are there any points to take note of when applying Geschenk?
Apply a small amount onto 1/3-1/4 of the face at a time, using one or two fingers to massage Geschenk gently into the skin using small circular motions, until it has been absorbed into the skin.
※Apply Geschenk in small amounts to prevent the active ingredients from drying up before being absorbed by the skin. (Try to avoid air-conditioning).
※Geschenk is made up of more micro-molecules than macro-molecules. It is most effective when the micro-molecules are absorbed into the skin.
What should I do if Geschenk gets too dry while applying it over a large area?
Spray some water on to the dried Geschenk, and massage it gently in small circular motions until it has been absorbed into the skin.
Is there a recommended type of facial foam that I should use?
Facial foams are meant to help remove makeup and dirt from the skin. Hence, we recommend one that lathers well, and thoroughly cleans the skin of dirt.
After putting on Geschenk at night, should I wash my face in the morning?
Your face may feel slimy when washing your face with water. This is due to the hydrating film formed on your face caused by the bonding of the polyglutamic acid and water. The film can be washed off without issues using water.
The active ingredients that were applied to the face before sleeping would have been absorbed into the skin and act directly on the skin cells, and thus there is no need to worry that the active ingredients may be removed when you wash your face.
When should I apply Geschenk?
Skin cells are known to be regenerate most actively between 10 PM to 2 AM, which is also known as the golden time in the beauty world. Please apply Geschenk every night before you go to bed, as the skin cells will require nutrients during this timing.
Should I use Geschenk in the morning as well?
Do use it in the morning of your days off. It is ideal to use Geschenk daily, to promote rejuvenation of your skin.
However, due to Geschenk applying a hydrating film on the skin surface, it does not blend well with oil-based makeup which can prevent the makeup from being applied.
In such cases, we recommend applying a few layers of Geschenk the night before, which will have similar effects.
Can I apply Geschenk on to areas other than my face?
It can be applied on to any part of your body. We recommend that Geschenk be applied daily to the neck and back of your hands, as they are exposed daily.
Geschenk can be used on other exposed parts of the body.
Would I require any UV protection?
Hydrolyzed plum in Geschenk suppresses the absorption of melanin. Thus, it is recommended that more Geschenk be applied the day before if you expect yourself to be exposed to more UV rays.
However, Geschenk does not protect you from UV rays, so please use UV care products to protect yourself as necessary.
Do I need to use a toner when doing my makeup?
Geschenk can also be used as an alternative to toners, but please first ensure that the skin absorbs the active ingredients by massaging Geschenk using small circular motions, similar to when applying at night. After this, please put on your makeup as usual.
*1: Please use your regular toner if Geschenk fails to blend well with the makeup.
*2 : As the condition of your skin improves, you will be able to go out wearing less makeup.
Is it fine that the Geschenk sponge does not dissolve fully at times?
There may be slight differences in the Geschenk when it is in its sponge state due to slight differences that may arise during the freeze-drying stage.
This may cause some of the ingredients to be harder to dissolve, but it will not make the product any less effective. In such cases, use the spoon included in the package to mix the solution and sponge, and the sponge should fully dissolve after some time.
*1 If you want to use Geschenk right after dissolving the sponge, you can use the portions that have already been dissolved.
*2 An alternative option is to pour the solution into the container before bathing, or dissolve the sponge the day before and store the prepared Geschenk in the refrigerator.
What does Geschenk work on?
Can Geschenk be used on burn wounds?
Geschenk was created from the same biomaterials used as the foundation of cultured dermis, which was developed to cure severe burns.
Normally, Geschenk would be applied by massaging it into the skin in a circular motion, in order for the dermis to absorb the active ingredients.
However, when the dermis is exposed due to the burn, wash and cool the wound with cold water, then apply a large amount of Geschenk and cover it with gauze.

Can it be used on normal wounds?
Geschenk was created from the same biomaterials used as the foundation of cultured dermis, which was developed to cure severely damaged skin.
Normally, Geschenk would be applied by massaging it into the skin in a circular motion, in order for the dermis to absorb the active ingredients.
However, when the dermis is exposed due to the wound (when there is blood), wash the wound with water, disinfect the wound properly, then apply a large amount of Geschenk and cover it with gauze.

Does Geschenk work on wrinkles and flabby skin?
Geschenk was developed to promote the revitalization of the dermis. The same biomaterials used as the foundation of cultured dermis developed from skin regenerative medicine, are used as the main ingredients in Geschenk.
With a healthy dermis as a foundation, the skin will be revived to a youthful state with increased elasticity and suppleness.
Does Geschenk work on dark spots?
If nutrients can reach the basal cells (the deepest layer of the skin) when it has been sunburnt, the melanin pigments will be erased and gradually return to its original color.
However, due to aging and damage from UV rays, the nutrients may not be able to reach the basal cells, causing the basal cells to darken permanently.
From that point on, the basal cells will continue producing the same type of cells, and this will continue to repeat causing the cells to come up with the upper layers of the skin. This is how dark spots are formed.
By using Geschenk, nutrients (vitamin C) will be delivered to the basal cells, gradually revitalizing it, promoting the production of normal cells.
The revitalized basal cells will continue producing the same type of cells, and this will continue to repeat causing the cells to come up to the upper layers of the skin, causing the skin to gradually return to its original pigment.
*Dark spots should be treated as early as possible, as dark spots that are treated at an earlier stage will have a higher possibility of disappearing completely.
Does Geschenk work on pimples?
Glucosylceramide improves intercellular adhesion, and polyglutamic acid will form a hydration film on the skin, suppressing the growth of the bacteria.
Does Geschenk work on atopy?
Geschenk is effective in cases of atopy caused by the deterioration of the skin’s function as a barrier. Ceramides, collagen, hyaluronic acid, and natural moisturizing factor (NMF) form a moisturizing membrane over the stratum corneum, forming a barrier to prevent any stimulus from reaching the subcutaneous layer of the skin.
However, when this barrier breaks, stimulants will start to cause complications, which often is the reason behind the outbreak of atopy.
Geschenk contains biomaterials such as atelocollagen and bio-hyaluronate that promote the development of collagen and hyaluronic acid by skin cells. In addition, glucosylceramide improves intercellular adhesion, moisturizing the skin and protecting it from external stimuli.
Does Geschenk work on dark circles as well?
Geschenk works especially well on dark circles. Dark circles form when blood stagnates in the capillaries around the eyes. Geschenk promotes blood flow and helps you to produce collagen, hence we recommend massaging Geschenk into your dark circles.
What should I do after using Geschenk?
Acne has appeared on my skin, but is this fine?
Acne is mostly caused by various factors such as stress, physical condition, diet etc.
Geschenk contains glucosylceramide that plays a role in intercellular adhesion, and polyglutamic acid which forms a hydration film on the surface of the skin, which suppresses the spread of bacteria, which is likely to improve acne.
In general, it is fine to continue using Geschenk in the case of acne.
Eczema has appeared on my skin, but is this fine?
This may be caused by a reaction that occurs during the replacement of the skin due to the active activation of skin cells.
In addition, there are cases where skin peels off thinly, or skin turns rough, but his is due to the same reason.
Although it is rare for this condition to appear, there is no problem in continuing to use Geschenk as it is part of the process of your skin being revitalized. (This is common when using other luxury cosmetic products).
However, for those concerned with your skin’s condition, please consider using diluted Geschenk or Ruhe FD, or stop using the products on the affected portions of the skin while observing the situation.
Can I apply any lotion or cream after using Geschenk?
Due to the reasons stated in Q3, it is ideal to apply Geschenk on to your bare face and sleep with only Geschenk applied to the face.
My skin turned red/reddish, but is this fine?
It is most probably due to one of the two reasons below.
(1) As there may be some ingredient that may cause the skin to be irritated, we recommend that you conduct a patch test to find out if this is the case.
If your skin turns red, use purified water to dissolve the Ruhe FD into a less concentrated mixture and perform the patch test again.
If there are no complications, please continue to use Ruhe FD. If there are complications, please stop the use of the product.
(2) If any steroid-based medication has been used to treat your skin in the past or present, your skin may have a negative reaction to Geschenk and cause your skin to turn red.
Please stop the use of Geschenk temporarily. Once recovered, dilute Ruhe FD using purified water into a less concentrated mixture, and apply it while looking out for any complications.
If the complications continue to arise, please stop using the product.
My eyebrows and eyelashes got thicker - what does this mean?
Hair is also considered as a part of the skin, so for some people, the revitalizing of the skin will also lead to healthier eyebrows and eyelashes.
My makeup does not stay on my face (starts to peel off) after using Geschenk, what should I do?
(1) There may be cases as in Q2 where a large portion of the active ingredients are not absorbed by the skin. Start by focusing on letting the skin properly absorb the active ingredients.
(2) If (1) does not solve the problem, please refer to the causes in Q6. Hence it is recommended that more Geschenk be applied and massaged into the skin only at night.
*Supplement to Q7 and Q15: Ruhe FD works similarly to Geschenk, but Emeralitus contains a larger portion of collagen and hyaluronic acid, and the macromolecules may remain on the skin surface. Hence, Emeralitus is not suitable for use in the morning.
What should I do when I still feel that my skin is dry and not moist enough?
Due to the usage of lotions and creams on a regular basis, the sebaceous glands may have lowered functions, causing dry skin. By continuing to only use Geschenk before going to bed, the sebaceous glands will regain their original functions. Ultimately, lotions and creams will become unnecessary with the use of Geschenk.
※1 Applying Geschenk twice will accelerate both the rate of improvement of the skin and the relieving of symptoms.
※2 Hydration face masks will work prior to and after the application of Geschenk.
※3 If stress marks remain after ※1 or ※2, pat some lotion or toner onto your face.
What do I do when Geschenk gets into my eyes?
It is recommended to apply Geschenk into the around the eyes, but Geschenk is not eye drops.
However, since Geschenk does not contain any ingredients that are harmful to the human body, there is no problem even if a small amount enters the eyes. (Please apply using clean fingers.)
